Rosa Program

Rosa provides counselling for children aged 5 - 18 years of age to assist them in healing from the impact of abuse or neglect.  The focus of Rosa is to work with children and young people to build on their strengths and create solutions to ensure their safety and emotional well being.

Referrals can only be accepted from the Department of Communities (Child Safety Services).

Referral Process

The Rosa program works with families where the Department of Communities (Child Safety Services) are having, or have had involvement.  Referral to the program by the Department of Communities (Child Safety Services) is needed

Professionalism

At Centacare each Rosa Counsellor has a Social Sciences degree and/or relevant work experience.

Counsellors are ethically bound to refer clients whose issues are outside their area of expertise or where the issues do not fit within the guidelines of our service.       

Session Times

Sessions time range depending on specific needs.  Please discuss when contacting Centacare.    

Confidentiality

Our work with families is confidential within the limits of legal and professional guidelines.

Fees

This program is funded by the Department of Communities (Child Safety Services) and there is no fee for accessing this service.
